The Padres do not need Hamels and will not go after him. They had Ross / Kennedy / Cashner

Thats ace material. Why would they give up the rest of their prospects for Hamels? and yes it would require Renfroe / Wisler / Hedges

Also not sure if you are implying a platoon with Myers and Smith? That's not happening. Smith will be traded or be a bench player. Myers also probably will not be leading off.

That lineup is in the top 5 in baseball IMO.

I listed Myers and Smith together, because I figured Myers would be gone if they flipped him to Philly for Hamels.

I'll be a little surprised if this doesn't happen the way the Padres GM has been operating.

Phillies - I am pretty sure this will change. This team is old with a nice bullpen.

CF Ben Revere
SS Freddy Galvis (though the Phillies have been linked to Jung-ho Kang as the mystery team that won with the posting fee)
2B Chase Utley
1B Ryan Howard
OF Marlon Byrd
C Carlos Ruiz
OF Dominic Brown
3B Cody Asche

SP Hamesl
SP Cliff Lee
SP David Buchanon
SP Jerome Williams

CL Papelbon
RP Jake Diekman
RP Ken Giles

Should be good...if it was 2008 or 2009.

LF-Hamilton
DH-Cron/Joyce
3B-Freese
2B-Green
SS-Aybar

Bench
UT-Rutledge
OF-Cowgill
C-Perez

SP
1. Weaver
2. Richards
3. Shoemaker
4. Wilson
5. Heaney

Pen
