1st decade that I followed baseball and I decided to start a a project of players of the 90's that I enjoyed watching but I need a srtaing point so this is where all of you come in because I think John Olurud and Robin Ventura should be on the list while others don't....

That's a really REALLY close call there. I myself would go with Maddux but I think it could go either way....

Agreed. While the only times I really saw Maddux pitch were the WS vs. the Yankees, I truly believe that when healthy Pedro Martinez was the best pitcher I have ever seen pitch.

They won't beat out Griffey, Bonds or Gwynn in the OF, but a quick shoutout to Juan Gonzalez and Albert Belle. Both of them were TREMENDOUS hitters.

I know I'm biased, but I think you have to go with Biggio over Sandberg for 2B of the '90s. Sandberg's decline years were in the '90s and he missed three seasons in the mid to late '90s. I could probably go with Sandberg for the '80s though.
