If you are who I think you are then you're the high bidder on it.

That's not John.

I was thinking of a guy named Dave, I forgot that his username is rarecardcollector.

There is a way to know who is bidding? I get a***a ?

I know who is/was bidding by their feedback. The same guys typically buy the higher end Griffey stuff.

I think the $450 estimate is going to be a little off :p , but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to afford whatever it ends up going for being that it's at $400+ now. Good luck to whoever is going after it...

Not to change the reply subject but if anybody that has any of these 95 SC Extreme Corps
with diffrent foil patterns I would love to see them. I am particularly interested in seeing any
that are solid blue, green, yellow, purple and or orange if they exist? Thanks

2009 Griffey RC Auto buyback Hologram Numbers

Hi all,
I have been in constant contact with an exectutiive at Beckett who has been kind enough to take an interest in all the controversey surrounding the 2009 Griffey 89 RC auto cards, with and without COA's and with different number sets.
He is especially concerned as one of my cards, the Black Ink Signed #13/89, is Becket authenticated, ie the entire card is judged to be authentic and the Auto graded sepparately.

He now has the 2 hologram numbers from my two cards, one signed in black ink and one signed in blue ink. He has dealt with the "higher ups" at upper deck on many occasions and does not anticiipate any problems getting a very quick answer as to the authenticity of the 2 cards and hologram numbers I gave him.

He expects to get back to me tomorrow with an answer as to those 2 hologram numbered cards, cards which do not have a COA and whose numbers are not in sequence with the other grouping that Roy has developed.

I will report back at that time
thanks

Steve, hope for your sake that my theory is wrong. Maybe we will finally get a good answer from UD on this. Beckett would look pretty foolish if they authenticed a fake card.
