By my count there have been 8 real ones so far 20,24,35,49,54,56,65 & 89
and 4 fakes 2,13,45 & 81.

Hi guys,here is the latest.

Happy birthday Magic. Awesome new cards everyone. I have an 89 buyback coming graded 8 by BGS. It is from the 99 UD series. Should a certificate of authenticity come with it? Also how do you redeem autos from upperdeck i have a couple of lettermen redemption cards needing to be redeemed. Any help would be much appreciated. GO Griff!

Hey I don't know if you guys collect non-auto Griffey but a guy at the shop I go to is putting an 07 Sweet Spot Update patch from the WBC jersey and its half of the USA flag, its going on ebay tomorrow I think..

Now the ones that have not had COAs

Seems strange that the ones with lost COAs have hologram numbers that are not close to the ones with COAs

Today the 13/89 came back up for auction, authenticated by Beckett.

My opinion is the ones without COAs are altered or fake card, including the one that Backett says is okay.

"We believe that 13/89 and 81/89 are highly suspect. 49/89 is legit."

Edit: this was at $610. One canceled bid and down to $14.

I saw the shop owner and the flag patch card and he let me see the card and there's a real small crease from the chunkiness of the flag patch, he wanted me to let everyone know its not a big deal, he thinks thats why bids were retracted.

With the FAKE ones out there I deceided to spent my money on something else besides one of these. So, Thanks to Joe and a couple of other I had I small mailday

Even with that retracted bid, you know it's still going to take a bid of 600+ to be the top biddder. I wouldn't mind owning that card though.
