Not that he has a choice either way.
He's fresh out of high school, and doing what the bosses tell him.
Baltimore in September?? Not a chance.

If you read the above story, it mentions pitching into September......which Minor League team plays into September? Plus its not like it speeds up his arbitration clock. September only counts for options, not for service time.

If you read the above story, it mentions pitching into September......which Minor League team plays into September? Plus its not like it speeds up his arbitration clock. September only counts for options, not for service time.

The minor league post season does extend into September, so perhaps what is implied is he won't be shut down prior to that...no way he hits the big club this year....
