I'm so glad to join the club! Been trying to track this down for 15 years. The other two listed on worthpoint have different serial #'s than this one so it seems these things tend to get buried in player/set collectors collections and disapear, not to mention who knows how many are still in sealed product? Was thinking I was gonna have to started cracking some product open from bbcexchange just to have a chance!

I'm just curious why you like these so much? I love their rarity, but the design doesn't do much for me at all. The computer circuit board elements and funky die cut don't connect me to baseball. And being a "Retro" brand, I think it's weird they went futuristic in design. Of course this is just my opinion, but interested in hearing a different perspective.

Yea, I would say they certainly don't have the eye appeal of something like the Crusades. For me, it's just a really tough issue to come by. Being /50 is 'tough' but this card seems to be more like 'rare' to find. Any Bonds card that I have never seen before or only a couple of times always draws my attention.

By the way, congrats on landing one! They are indeed impressive if just for their rarity. UD Retro wasn't that popular on release. Almost impossible to find these nowadays. Wish Grace was in that set - I'd love to have one, and the challenge of finding it. Also, don't think I've ever had the chance before to say so, but from one player collector to another, kudos on your great Bond collection - very impressive!

I picked these up recently: 1993 Topps Black Gold Winners C/D Exchange Error (with NL players pictured) and Corrected (with AL players pictured). I had been under the assumption that the C, D, and C/D Exchange cards were all uncorrected errors (Beckett even lists the C and D Exchange cards as UER), but apparently not. Can anyone confirm that corrected versions (with AL players) exist for the individual C and D Exchange cards? This has to be in the running for the most confusing set ever made.

I never understood why Rickey wasn't included in the 98? Flair since he was still playing. He was in everything else. There are a few issues over the years that he wasn't in and I'm bummed, but at the same time happy that I don't have to chase down more cards.
