topps card replacement

how does this work?

"A maximum of 25 cards per request is permitted, and each grouping must be accompanied by the following four items: (1) a letter of explanation, (2) copy of receipt from the store in which you purchased the cards, (3) pack wrappers and (4) proof of purchase (UPC code found on the bottom of the box) sent to the following address:"

item #4 says i need a upc of the box? I dont think target will give me the box. what does anyone suggest? i have a nice dual game used thats destroyed from topps. The top clear part of the card is damaged.

Well one time I pulled a 1/1 wood card from a box of 08 ginter and they wanted the reciept and everything and they claimed they never got my package

well that sounds crooked. I would add a confirmation of course.

Try talking to somebody from Topps first either via email or phone. Mabe they can work with you and make a note or something that you don't need the UPC.
