Player/Team collectors... Do you like to hoard?

We all have seen those huge prospect hoards, 10s and 100s of copies of the same cards. My question is, how many of you that are collectors of a team or player hoard a certain card or love to get doubles at triples... Or, is one enough?

one is enough. I have doubles but they are freebies or cards I bought not realizing I already had them.

I usually dont horde bu if I can get these

for really, really, really cheap I will pick them up in lots of 50 or more.

One is usually enough, unless if it's a Bobby Doerr 1939 Play Ball.

If I can get them cheap which I usually can I go after beltrans 95 sp rookie.I have about 20 of them.But usually 1 is enough

I hoard Andruw's 1995 Best Auto's, especially BGS 9.5's.

I have 20 more ungraded as well. I am biased towards the full auto versions however. I view the full auto versions as a rarity.

im a bad hoarder, i want all wes hodges. out of 07 bc i have these, though they are changing daily

and that is nowhere near what i have of his from other sets. some player collectors might not like it but i dont care, that is who i collect and im a hoarder!

I just like to have one of each different card. Combination of not wanting to spend the extra money and not wanting to take up extra storage space.

I voted yes, but the only real cards I hoard are Griffey RCs. I have a couple hundred of the different rookies and if I see lots for cheap, I'll pick them up as well. Normally if I'm trading or buying from someone, I'll ask if they have any as well and go ahead and pick them up.

I have no idea why I like having so many 1989 RCs, but I do. I have dupes of many other cards as well, but nothing even remote close to what I have in RCs.

About 4 months back i bought 3100+ 1989 Mike Greenwells for 27.00,i since have sold 2 differnat lots on ebay.1 lot had 100 Greenwells,the other lot had about 2500.So i have about 600-700 left of them,because i had around 100 before buying the lot. :lol: :lol:

The only time I intentionally go after more than one copy of a card is if I'm planning on using it for a TTM or tradebait down the road. Other than that, one copy is fine for me.
