He is too good. I was not a big fan of his until this year and the guy, to go along with his goofiness, is one of the best hitters I've seen in quite some time.

That's quite a list.
Well he's only reached 198 hits in a season 3 times, with exactly 198 twice and 205 last year. 197 once. So he certainly can do it, but it's not certain that he will. But he'll come real close, and with his birthday being April 18, even if he misses narrowly this year he could reach 2000 before actually turning 31 next year.
