Nice. I've seen him at a couple of stops in the minors, and he strikes me as one of those "looks like a ballplayer" guys, that I always like.

Hopefully this brings him out of his slump...

Hitless in his last 29 at-bats and has 6 hits in his last 60 at-bats (.100).

Sucks that Bailey is going to the DL but let's see what this Bates kid can do! So will they send him back down after the AS break when Lowell comes back from the DL??
