This will make Jaypers day. Desmond Jennings was promoted to AAA Durham after tonight's game. All I can say...it's about time!

I wonder if he will be up in September? Would make one hell of a pinch runner down the stretch.

Close to zero chance. He's not on the 40 man being reason #1. They'll have Fernando Perez for pinch running duties in September. Jennings will be much, much better than Perez though. Perez is a 4th outfielder who can't hit right handed pitching. Jennings is a future stud.

Maybe they'll actually make some room for him in the off-season, so that he can have more of a regular role. I'd like to see him in RF (he's played that position before in Montgomery) in the long-term.

I think Zobrist will be in RF next year, unless they don't pick up Aki's option, which could very well happen. I really think eventually he will end up replacing BJ, as I just have a feeling he won't be getting a new contract. I do get very excited thinking of an OF of Crawford, Upton, Jennings however. They would sure take away a lot of hits.

He has a $10 million club option next year and is a free agent after next season. DJ would be the perfect replacement. Hopefully they can resign CC though but I'm not counting on it, especially if he plays this well next year. He'll get a huge deal somewhere.
CC/BJ/DJ would probably be the greatest defensive outfield ever though, that would be awesome.

Maybe it's because he's been there his whole career, but I really do not see Crawford going anywhere. He's still the face of the team to a large degree (I know Longoria has taken some of that away from him) and he was there through the horrible seasons, always working hard and staying out of trouble. He's the best player the franchise has ever had, and he's entering his prime right now. I think the franchise will do what they can to sign him, and the feeling I've always got from Crawford is that he's not really looking to go anywhere.cowboysrule48 said:
