This idea just popped into my head the other day, so I thought I'd throw it out there for you all to try. If there's enough interest, I'd be happy to host a real contest in the near future (with prizes).
The rules are simple:
1. I'll provide fragmented information found on a Hall of Famer's plaque. Dead giveaway information will obviously be omitted, but with a little bit of research, you should be able to identify the HOFer in question
2. For later rounds, I'll provide additional clues that will link multiple HOF plaques. After correctly identifying everyone, there will be a final clue that will suggest a commonality between all of the HOFers. Your final challenge will be to determine that commonality.
Here's a warmup lob for most of you to get started. Simply identify this inductee.
