Congrats on the milestone! Those look great all together. He had quite a few releases for his rookie year.

It's too bad they couldn't have come up with a single interesting photo for one of his cards. You put way more work into finding the cards than they did putting them together. Was Bay a highly touted rookie or a late bloomer?

thefatguy thanks Jesse. the 3 hardest to find were Topps Chrome Traded Refractor, Topps Gold Label Titanium /100 and the Finest X-Fractors Protectors /99.
carlitoson thanks and yes 3 different teams in one year is rare especially before he made his MLB debut.

I realized that I had this one and didn't see it pictured. The whole "uncirculated" thing is silly IMO (too easy to fake), and I don't remember when/how I picked this up exactly. Perhaps there's a way to look up the number to confirm the card's legitimacy(?) I don't know. :?
Anyway; it's been packed away in a rookie box of mine for years. Let me know if you need it.

carlitoson I actually have that "uncirculated" card and the Chrome version but like you said they are pretty easy to fake so I didn't count them towards completion. thank you for the offer though.

nevermore thank you. I actually did have a hard time getting both of the Topps Black Refractors but this is only the 3rd copy of the Finest X-Fractors Protectors I have seen. I am not sure if the Mets rookie cards are selling better now that he is a Met again. I haven't really been tracking prices recently although it would be interesting to know.
