As the Hawks players were to sing take me out to the ball game at the Cubs/Sox game tonight
they cut away to commercial. I wanted to see this and the cup again. I hate you ESPN and Joe Morgan too.

Much like EVERY OTHER TV STATION THAT BROADCASTS GAMES, ESPN cuts to commercials between innings. You know, to generate revenue to keep their company running.

Seriously, what a dumb complaint

Yes sir but they still and always have done a TV time-out and it is about 3-4 minutes. ESPN has stayed to
have the 7th inning stretch before. So I guess per you it was a stupid complaint. :D

I honestly haven't watched ESPN since the MLB network started. ESPN is sports coverage for the casual/east coast fan.

WGN, which I am sure Richard is used to watching the Cubs games on everyday stays with the 7th Inning Stretch singing of 'Take Me Out To The Ballgame' quite regularly I believe when the Cubs are playing at Wrigley and someone notable is singing it.

You would think that the newly crowned Stanley Cup Champions signing the song, mixed in with it being the Cubs on National television, that ESPN would stay with the broadcast during the singing of it.

So I can understand his beef. They probably SHOULD have taken the time to show the singing.

If this was the Yankees and the Islanders won  (Yeah right). ESPN would have been licking crack to and stayed
and they would have talked about Jeter or Arod could have played for the Islanders this team and the would win many of Stanley Cups.
