just got the 2nd to last card to complete the full "collection" of every non 1/1 card including minor league cards (big shoutout to user: BluesBroSJ for hooking me up with the silk collection card... its got a print run of /50 but that thing was deceptively hard to find!)

only missing the 2008 chrome red refractor #/5 now!

got a buddy down there picking me up a ball with an inscription already or I would say most definitely! I hope he will sign the inscription we are wanting haha

edit: changed the spacing on my original post so it should only be 3 per line now on my screen it already only showed 3 per line didn't realize it was stretching for some folks

yep 2011 topps factory set. they come with a pack of 5 random red /245 cards (i think its /245 at least) picked it up off ebay

glad you were able to pick it up also! I'd love that 08 super if it surfaces.... I'd be just as happy with more plates though...i LOVE the framing on the 08 plates..and I've got the ugliest color out of all of them..the 08 chrome plates look even cooler. I'd pay a good sum for the black plates.

if i pick up an extra 08 blue ref I'll hit you up.. I've got multiples of a few of them I'm picking up any i can for decent prices. have a pair of the golds now

picked this one up thanks to a dude on blowout.

we made sure not to outbid each other on it when it was on ebay, he decided to move it so gave it to me for what he paid.

also picked up a 2nd 2008 gold ref /50

my buddy down in Atlanta picked up a venters auto for me...had what I thought was a sweet idea for an inscription...so he talked to him a bit and explained it and got it for me

for those that don't listen to the braves radio broadcasts... Jim Powell and Don Sutton for the past 2-3 months now have been referring to the braves 7, 8 and 9 combo as "sit down!" "shut up!" and "go home!"

so decided with both venters and kimbrel both having signings in the next couple of weeks to try to get inscriptions for "shut up!" and "go home!" and then later tracking down o'flaherty to complete the signatures!

got the "shut up!" today...

"Really good guy. Shook his hand, talked a bit. He had no idea he was shutup. He laughed, and thought that was really funny!" he also noted it was the only time he has ever signed that haha

the ball.

Venters signing it for me.

sucks I don't live near Atlanta anymore and couldn't just grab it myself, but thanks to the folks who offered up to grab one for me! if I didn't still have friends in the area I would have gladly taken one of you up on it!

after e-mailing the photo of the ball to the braves radio announcers got a shoutout last night on braves radio talking about the ball/inscription by powell/sutton. that was pretty nerdy/cool

then today got a tweet about it by jim powell.

my record label posted up for all of braves country (that follow jim powell on twitter at least!) LOL

haven't updated this in a while....here are my up to date Venters PC counts, and here are a couple of the nicer pickups over the past couple of months:

Venters Collection 64% (62/97)
1/1's (7/40 18%)
base/parallels (55/57 97%)

also have the black swatch of the /60 relics like above incoming.

today added our third 2010 bowman draft RC printing plate on ebay ($12PPD! great deal!), 3 down 1 to go!

figured this was worth posting up, picked up another jumbo venters....just so happens to be the interlocked piece to go with our other!

also figured out the white gap of space in the bottom relic = buttonhole by checking out the jerseys
