I've noticed that a lot of licensed Topps cards won't mention Pete Rose - for example, the blurb on the back of a card would read "player so-and-so only trails the all time hit king in such and such category."
I recently received a Grant Green 2010 Bowman w/ Chrome auto as a replacement for a Lineage auto. On the back it says "Idolized Pete Rose growing up." Has anyone else seen an acknowledgement of Rose on any other licensed issue? I would think this would be a huge no-no.
In other news, the 2011 Topps Lineage Bob Addis autograph will not be produced.
