I snipe all my auctions, and I only put what I'm willing to bid, so the shilling I'll leave to the detectives on here, who seem to be generally pretty good at spotting that kind of thing.
But since this guy is here answering questions, I'll ask about my problem with his auctions.
How did you get, and and continue to list, so many of the unnumbered, backdoored Bowman Sterlings from 2005 and 2006? The ones that are on ebay and still in the uncirculated cases are numbered, as they were put out. Yet you have over 200 different loose gold/black/refs that are unnumbered. You say that "Beckett states only XX copies produced" yet the legit ones still in cases are, in fact, numbered.
And before you tell me that you didn't know, I know for a fact that you've had legit ones in the past of various players. When I was big into collecting Zimmerman, I'd always come across yours. I've seen how your descriptions used to be, and how they are now.

Your 2006 Black Ref listing, in which you state: "BECKETT STATES ONLY 25 COPIES PRODUCED, CARD IS NOT SERIAL NUMBERED"

"We never had any from 2005. We have them from 2006. We purchased them all at the same time. When we contacted Topps about it, they said they were replacement cards that were made by Topps. How exactly they got into circulation, I don't know. That is a question for Topps that they would not answer. The cards are 100% real and we at one time had many graded by Beckett."
edit: Darn it, still working on the multi-quote stuff on this new board!
I know they are unnumbered replacements. There have been many threads here and other boards about them.
My question is, since you know the legit ones are numbered, and you know these are "replacements," why do you specifically word your auctions that way?
If there are 25 black refractors that are numbered, and you're selling unnumbered ones, then you should know that those are in addition to the numbered ones.
By stating that Beckett (a pretty highly regarded source in the card world) states that there is a print run of only 25, and you know that these unnumbered ones can only add to that number, you are purposely misleading people.
You say you talked to Topps about them, and they told you these were the replacement ones that got out somehow, so you obviously know they are extras that inflate the print run.
