It was nice to see Kopitar get the first goal of the series. I will not get my hopes up though until the final horn and LA advances to the Cup Finals.

Anze gets 2 more assists to match Brown in points for the team lead. Hope they keep it up.

The World's longest Hockey game is coming to an end in Chestermere Lake, Alberta (suburb of Calgary) tonight. New Guiness world record as these guys have been playing a game for over 240 hours.

Kopitar notches a goal and the Kings are still doing okay. Let's see what happens...

246 hours...10 and a quarter days. They left it so that others could break the record by 6 hours the next time.

$1.5 million was raised for the Alberta Children's Hospital.

Well, LA took a step back from their hot streak. They were chasing the puck from the beginning which is never a good sign. Mike Smith did his thing for a shutout. Phoenix still needs to win 3 in a row, but you never know.

Kings are still the better team IMHO, but there is something about that Mike Smith fellow! Maybe it's because he stoned the Predators so much!

Kings in 5!

Russia won the World Championships yesterday. Gold medal for Russia and Malkin got tournament MVP. These game would come on live around 3-6am last week and i watched one almost every early morning and Malkin was a monster in this tournament.

Well, the Kings scrapped their way to the Finals. The Yotes thought LA played dirty, but you get some calls and sometimes you don't. Now LA gets a week off to heal from a tough series.

In my opinion I don't see the Rangers or Devils beating the Kings. Quick is playing out of his mind, the defense is very strong and all four lines are meshing well.

That was a crazy ending to the game last night. Granted I have really only been watching hockey the last 6 or 7 years or so, but I can't remember seeing the handshake line getting so heated. I was afraid someone might drop the gloves in the line last night.

Ot goal a minute in puts the #6 seed Devils in the Cup Final versus the #8 seed Kings.

Will there even be a Parade in NJ If they win LOL?

GO KINGS!

Not playoff related, but I knew this was bound to happen ...

Zach Hamill traded to Washington for Chris Bourque (son of Ray) ... well, better Washington than Montreal or Toronto or Philly.
