He has a point though.

Ziplock produces 100s of 1,000s of boxes of storage bags every day, and if the box says there are 50 in it,
you can bet your ass there are 50 bags in that box.

When you buy a pack of Marlboros, there are 20 of them in there.

How about if you went to buy an iphone and the box had the charger, manual, battery, etc...but no phone?

Why is it so DAMN hard for topps to get this right? It's what they DO...period.

I am a Logistics Executive for Target and have worked in Retail for over 19 years. You would be shocked at how many time a case of ziplock bags (or other product) come in and while stocking it we find that one of the boxes has zero bags in it from the manufacturer...

Very true, this is common with most products. Let me also point out that the ziploc bag is not a great example. Every single item in a box of ziploc bags is identical, not every item in a box of cards is identical. While yes, you get 24 (or however many) packs in a box, each pack is identical, but the items WITHIN each pack are not. The GU/Autos are not the only ones that need to be ratio'd out. Each insert has its own "guaranteed" ratio also.

At the end of the day, I guarantee that the amount of boxes without the "guaranteed" hit, is an extremely small percentage over the entire print run. Sucks that you saw a couple of those boxes within the case you broke. I busted one box of Topps Chrome a month or so ago and got one auto instead of the stated two. It happens, it's not a perfect science.

But at the end of the day, the seeding stated on the boxes was correct. You still received autos at the stated RATIO "over the entire print run."

The machines are taking over!!!!

Lol seriously, I've seen it. I remember the last case of Bowman draft I bought, one box had zero autos and one had two. Typical Topps stuff right there.

Pretty sure it was UD that would give the "ratios over the stated print run" BS

Topps chrome says right on the damn box..."contains 2 autographs"
