Is this for real or did I miss the sarcasm?

Do all other companies do it though? Would a Topps, Panini or Upper Deck employee be allowed to purchase 20 cases of a product directly from their facility and be one of the first to list them on ebay? I doubt it.
I know Joe (wjc) and trust him completely - if he says there's nothing shady about it, then I believe him. He hit a home run on supers but got 1 redemption in 20 cases...so it cuts both ways.
That said, selling cases to employees who bust them is always going to come with some conspiracy risk
Here's my opinion on this. I've heard the reasoning being used as "all companies do it" and even though that might be true, it still doesnt make it a good thing...
Lots of people file chargebacks when a seller doesnt use DC
Lots of people claim empty envelopes when they arent.
I'm probably just being an idealist but it was very possible for Leaf to do it differently and at some point, how many times is the excuse "all the other companies do it" going to be ok. I like BG and in many cases I like his product but he is making it harder and harder to even consider spending a penny on his brand. Full disclosure can be your friend even though I mocked it for a few days with Jeff. Just freaking say it instead of coming here and bringing attention to it.

I don't know who this guy is but that's a lot of supers!

The fact that "wjc" only got 1 redemption, instead of the 4 or 5 the odds would say he should, does help it look less shady.
But how do we know he didn't get more than one? Is there any way to confirm that, or is it just a matter of taking his word at face value...
"I want to make sure the real customers are getting these redemptions because they are a huge selling point. Here take these loaded with just supers"
So a collector spending $16K on cards isn't a real customer?
You probably have Oliver Stone on speed dial..![]()
