Got my packs in today. Nothing great, but it was fun. Got nothing in my GOTG packs, nothing in my SP legendary pack, nothing in my pinnacle of note, no Jeter in my SP, no Griffey in my UD and a Casey Fossum auto hat out of the piece of game pack. Not going to scan any of it but again, thank you for putting this together and it was a blast. Especially the 93 SP pack which didn't have anything but the RC that was in the pack was in GREAT shape, so, if it would have been a Jeter I would have been pumped :).

Would feel a little guilty posting this is my wife hadn't just asked for a divorce, can't have everything I guess. Was one of the happiest moments opening a pack though, despite a little issue with the bottom right corner, 93 SP Jeter, yes. Damon too, and a Gooden in the '85 Donruss. Nothing from the '82 Donruss but a couple of nice materials in the leaf, including Adam Dunn rookie material. I'm one lucky SOB, when it comes to prospecting anyway.

Damn, nice DJ! Congrats, Thom. Great looking card overall. I think I'm going to just buy one to have.

Great hit! Sounds like you could really use it too. Distraction is awesome, while you're distracted, haha. Congrats man!

Didn't hit the Jeter in my 2 SP packs. Didn't hit anything in the 85 Topps Rack, 89 Upper Deck pack, or the three Donruss 82 packs.

I opened those last night, and saved the 78 Topps Rack -- contemplating even saving it for a long time. 78 is the year I was born and I have the set minus a few cards but I always thought it'd be cool to open a pack from the year. Got the itch to bust it this afternoon and didn't hit anything much in the first two segments of the rack pack. Then, in the third pack, this was the third-to-last card:

Boom! It's very sharp with the exception of the centering. It's an upgrade over my current copy, too. It was actually the one card I wanted to pull and I'm amazed it happened!

Wow! Awesome Murray RC. Damn nice pull. I am wondering where the Griffeys are at this point. Must be in Trauty's packs!

Nobody pull a Jr. from the '89 UD yet? Didn't we split up two boxes of this stuff? I only have two packs and honestly kept my sealed this time since I pulled the Jr. last time, so I am really pulling for someone to knock out a Jr. or two... if not, I guess I'll break my two but was just hoping another member would kill it other than me again ;)

Thanks, definitely one of the coolest pulls I've had in a while.

I'd like to grade it, but upon further inspection, the vertical edges are a little rough, like the blade used to cut it weren't super sharp. Horizontal edges are fine, very smooth. It's hard to see in the photo I took with my phone. Anyone have any idea how that might impact the grade?

Wow! Awesome Murray RC. Damn nice pull. I am wondering where the Griffeys are at this point. Must be in Trauty's packs!

It would probably grade out a 7 with edge and centering issues that you describe. It definitely has better eye appeal than that though.

6 -1985 Topps rack packs (I also received a pack with Mark McGwire on top that I didn't open but the other 6 were absolutely horrible), 6-1985 Donruss, 11-1987 Fleer Rack packs (unfortunately all three of these have dings on either a corner or the side of the card)

9 - 1997 Pinnacle Totally Certified (ouch, and no stars from the red base cards either). 2 packs 2001 Leaf Limited -- nothing worth scanning.

I still have 2 1982 Topps rack packs and 4 packs of 2001 Fleer Greats of the Game that I'll open tomorrow. Yikes

I think they are 1:6 and we've seen Bunning and Cey. So I guess I'm wondering where the other two are.

Oh - I see Andy still has some packs that he will open tomorrow. Good luck man! I hope you have them both.

I posted one
