Don't know how well this translates from twitter but this is about as ignorant as it gets from the NCAA

@JayBilas: Go to http://t.co/qpH4tNnIpH and type "Marqise Lee" in the upper right search box, then hit enter. This comes up. http://t.co/UtLJLka7hP

What point is he trying to make??? I really don't get the point to his tweet.

Still don't like him. His ego is about as big as A-Roid's... I mean just look at his twitter pic.

BG - ESPN and/or OTL contact you?

Even if they did, he wouldn't legally be able to tell you if they did, at least, if his lawyer(s) were smart they'd tell him not to. I'm surprised he's commented at all.

Maybe everyone should just let it rest until the final report comes out? What good does speculating do? All the negative posts towards Leaf can be viewed by anyone with an Internet connection, so why don't we leave Mr. Gray alone for now?

NCAA has no power of subpoena. All of the information gathered is volunteered. If there is no criminal issues they have no weight.

So if BG hadn't already made his statement he could say whatever he wanted and still avoid the case.

As to the witch hunt.. When the only freshman ever to win the trophy and is a national star comes under this scrutiny you ask questions and make accusations.

Even if BG paid Johnny Football, it wouldn't be his (BG') fault. The players know it can cost their eligibility if they do, so I don't feel bad for him. He should have said no and not signed. If I were in his position I would have turned it down. Why risk the rest of your college career? If you need money that bad go play in the CFL.

What point!?

The NCAA claims that no jerseys are tied to any certain player. Last spring web Kevin Ware (#5) broke his leg, Adidas created "Rise for 5" shirts. Hours after they were up for sale, they were magically taken down from the website.

If you search for a M. Lee (likely Heisman finalist) jersey on the NCAA merchandise site, it doesn't bring up some random jersey from Idaho. It's the exact number and school he plays for. That is pretty damning evidence that shows even the NCAA knows they profit off of an amateur's likeness.

Desmond freakin' Howard cannot even use a picture of his famous Heisman pose from 1991 after returning a punt against Ohio State.

The NCAA, Getty, and the photographer all claim to have rights to the image. Howard is currently being sued because he used possibly the most famous CFB picture of my generation.

Just insane.

We have never had any communication nor any business dealings with this Telian person or Johnny Manziel..

Your statements implication is false.
BG

Supermoderators should know better than this, to put FCB in legal jeopardy. After all, since you've issued a ban on suits with Panini, your attorneys are just itching to file something, aren't they? :)

Can't say if I was a college Football Star I wouldn't sign autos for money. No way NCAA should make money off me and I not get a cut. If they tried to make money off me I'd sue them for using my name and likeness with out my permission.
