Mirror Red Matsui rookie! I have been partial to the 2003 LCM versus other years. The full color background makes these pop. I was in Cooperstown late in the summer of 2003 when I purchased the latest Beckett issue, The back cover ad still remains engraved in my mind. It introduced me to the concept of a rainbow in collecting.

That's my favorite year as well. I like the design plus the 2004 and 2005 sets switched to a different kind of foil so the mirrors don't look as good as the 2001-03 sets.

I just noticed on the sell sheet their example card for Mirror Gold Materials was a Miguel Tejada bat card. No such card exists, they used the same picture for Tejada's card as the sell sheet but his Materials cards all had jersey swatches:

Kind of neat to see an alternate version.

Might as well show off the rest of the team set while I'm at it:

Yes it does bug me that the Hudson patch is just one solid color. Bonus autos of the two guys that didn't have Materials cards:

im guessing is that embossed? if so, is that why the low grade?

Wondering if the foil is lifting on one of the die cut corners but the foil is laying flat in the holder rather than flipped over so we can't see it. So tough to put one of those in a penny sleeve without wrecking one of those two corners near the top.
