On paper, one of the worst cards I've seen in a while. Who knows might end up entertaining.

I'll take GSP via KO. He's been working with Freddy Roach, so I'm interested to see his standup.

I have a bad feeling that Koscheck is going to land a bomb and things aren't going to end well for Georges.

I hope I am wrong though.

I'd love to see Koscheck out cold.

Ill take Koscheck.
Always had a soft spot for him after beatign diego and I honestly think he is the absolute best threat to GSP.
Plus I usually root for underdogs and/or the bad guys in big fights.

Struve, Joe Daddy, Alves, and Charles Oliveira local boys Pierson and Bocek.

Dan Miller, Madesski, Almeida and Natal finish up the picks for me

Alves vs. Howard or Oliveira vs Miller will be FOTN....both hard to pick a winner for. Anyhow these are my picks.

Georges St-Pierre
Sean McCorkle
Joe Stevenson
Thiago Alves
Charles Oliveira

PRELIMINARY CARD
Dan Miller
Dustin Hazelett

Rafael Natal
Sean Pierson
T.J. Grant
Pat Audinwood

I dunno but I kinda like the matchups on this card, though I'll admit it does not contain alot of "star-power" (I think Zuffa/Dana figured Pierre would be enough of a "pull" that they could slack off elsewhere...either that or they are saving the big-gub's for the New Year show?). Here are my pick's:

MAIN CARD
Champ Georges St-Pierre (170) vs. Josh Koscheck (169) - for welterweight title
Sean McCorkle (264) vs. Stefan Struve (253)
Mac Danzig (156) vs. Joe Stevenson (155.5)
Thiago Alves (171) vs. John Howard (171)
Jim Miller (155) vs. Charles Oliveira (153.5)

PRELIMINARY CARD (UFC.com)
Joe Doerksen (185.5) vs. Dan Miller (184.5)
Mark Bocek (155.5) vs. Dustin Hazelett (155)

PRELIMINARY CARD (un-aired)
Jesse Bongfeldt (185.5) vs. Rafael Natal (185)
Sean Pierson (170.5) vs. Matthew Riddle (170.5)
Ricardo Almeida (170.5) vs. T.J. Grant (170)
Pat Audinwood (156) vs. John Makdessi (155)

I really enjoy watching Charles Oliveira but I think Jim Miller will take him down & hold him there for most of the fight (G&P). Miller seems too scrappy for the young gun but I definitely see bright things in the future for Oliveira! ;) I think Struve gets sub'd by McCorkle early in the fight & McCorkle then goes on to call out Brock (or Big Country, but he's out-of-commission for awhile so maybe not)! :o I think Alves/Doomsday will be FOTN, considering one of them doesn't throw a curve & take the other down & turn this into a grappling match for position between 2 kick-boxer's! ::facepalm:: I like Riddle also but his future isn't looking so great if he loses tonight....EDIT: And I see he just lost due to unanimous decision! :benson: ..at least he "shouldn't" get the axe (I say shouldn't because look at what happenned last time I figured a fighter wouldn't get canned...G.Harris you will be missed  )

My picks have sucked. ::facepalm:: However, these fights have been pretty decent. Very entertaining indeed.

Any chance there's a Lesnar/Struve matchup? ;) I think it would be entertaining & there's a good chance that the UFC's "money-maker" could come out a winner...

Hats off to GSP. He was a beast and dominated Kos. He has to fight Anderson Silva, there is no one else in that division that can compete with him.

This

Overall B- C+ card. Sorta boring. GSP put on a clinic, what else is new. Was hoping for some fireworks, but it was mostly drop pops and black cats..

The Struve fight was a good one thou.

Boxing clinic. He was all day with that jab. Guess his sessions with Freddie Roach paid off.
