Hey guys, I've been away from the board for quite some time but noticed this thread is still going.

I'm still slowly working on Steve Carlton, Mike Schmidt, and Jim Thome collections.

bojacksoncollector: I have these 2 in my COMC account. They are at $0.75 a piece. If you told me when you're going to be online I could knock them down to almost free for you. And maybe you can keep your eyes open for any of my 3 players for me in return. Thanks.

Do you have ANY players in this set? I think I have a couple extra Dunn cards for trade from this set? I'm also trying to put together sets in 2005 Finest Blue X-Fractors, 2003 & 2005 Timeless Treasures Silver (#/50) cards, 2007 Topps M&M cards, as well as Bo Jackson and a little Frank Thomas as my budget allows. Did you get any of those Thome cards that were on E-Bay? A collector was selling a complete type set, a 5-card lot and about 5 singles. I got a couple of the singles, but was outbid on the type set. Once the single arrives, I'll be complete with my Thome type set.

I recently finished my Blalock, Guerrero, and Murray type sets. I'll scan them when I'm not half asleep. That brings my total completed Type Sets to 19 (of 100), with 30+ others only 1 card away from completion. Overall, I'm up to 79% complete with this monstrous endeavour. As always, I'm looking for people to trade with and to help complete this illusive set for their favorite player.

Are there any player collectors out there attempting to build a complete 56-card set, or even the 8-card type set. Post your wish-list here, or your have-list if it's shorter. Merry Christmas to y'all and WAAAAAR EAGLE!!!

Recently finished my Tod Helton type set. I now have 21 complete type sets and have 28 other players with 7 of the 8 I need to complete those type sets. Can anyone out there help? Anyone have any extra's of this monstrous set (100 players, 56 cards each, or 8 frontal vatriations each)? I'm getting there a little at a time, and am also upgrading cards I already have as I can afford them. Thanks a bunch. Oh, I have tons of spares to trade with if you have some I need. I'm always looking for extra Bo Jackson and Frank Thomas cards in this set. Waaaar Eagle! We're ready for a duck hunt! :lol:

Amazing how hard some of the "higher" print run cards (funny saying 35-45 copies is a high print run, but for these they are!) can be to find after they have been out for a while. I am still stalled at 2 more needed. I rarely see any of them on the market too.

For everyone else's info, these 2 cards needed are for Steve Garvey. Yeah, he's one of the more highly sought after players in this set, along with Grace, Griffey, Henderson, Bo Jackson, Mays, Thomas, and a few others. I only have 4 of the 8 cards I need for my Garvey type set (Still need Blue-Color, Blue-B&W, Sepia-Color, and White - B&W ... any numbers)

I just completed my Jim Edmonds type set. I've now completed 24 type sets and am only missing one card for 26 others. Overall, I'm now at 80 % complete for this 800-card type set quest!! I know, I'm crazy, but I like this set for some reason -- probably because I'm trying to complete the entire 56-card set for both Bo Jackson and Frank Thomas. This makes me constantly look for these cards. However, that's also good news for y'all because I can keep my eyes open for the cards you need as well..... as long as you keep your Wish Lists updated on this site...

Any other Super Collectors out there whose player is in this set. Remember to look at page one of this thread for the details about this set and possible money-saving suggestions if you don't want to try and track down all 56 variations.

I'm always looking for extra Bo Jackson and Frank Thomas cards from this set as well as trying to complete the 8-card type sets for all 100 players in this set. I just completed my Miguel Cabrera type set today. I've now completed 25 type sets and am only missing one card for 29 others! Overall, I'm now at 82% complete for this 800-card type set. Crazy, huh?!

Opened a box of 2005 Studio tonight, here were the portraits. All were either numbered /40 or /45. Not very good luck on player selection (two Zitos!). All available trade/sale. LMK if you need back info.
