2005 Studio Portraits cards

Opened a box of 2005 Studio tonight, here were the portraits. All were either numbered /40 or /45. Not very good luck on player selection (two Zitos!). All available trade/sale. LMK if you need back info.

Thank you for posting these in my thread here. I have all of these (fronts) or I'd make you an offer forthe ones I need. Also, I opened a box of this stuff as well about a year ago and had the same luck as you...not very good players nor serial numbers.

Anyone else have any 2005 Studio Portraits cards to sell/trade?

Also, would anyone like to commission me to put together an 8-card type set of their favorite player from this 100-player set? I'd do it on a cost + commission basis. Just let me know your player and a target price range. I'll keep you informed of my progress and current cost. It's just a thought.

Otherwise, just keep posting/updating your favorite player's wish list here as usual and I'll keep my eyes open for you and the cards you need. This has worked out well for a few people who have posted their want lists here and I've been able to help them get further completed with their 56-card set than I am with my Frank Thomas set.

I also have over 300 of these to trade with, so let me know what you have and/or what you're looking for if you want to buy/sell/trade. Let's trade!

I recently finished 3 more type sets: Eric Chavez, Andruw Jones, and Richie Sexson. I now have 31 of the 100 complete and am lacking only one card for 32 other players. I'm at 85% or so complete. I can't believe I've made it this far without throwing in the towel. When I'm finished with this mega project (MEGA type set), I'll have 100 players with 8 cards each!! I only hope I can finish it eventually.

Does anyone else have some of these cards they can post (or PM to me) at reasonable prices? If not, are you looking to finish your own type set of your favorite player. If so, join the thread by posting your wishlist and I'll keep my eyes open for you also. It's a win-win for everybody!

Did I mention that I have tons of these cards to trade/sell, so I canhelp others as well? If you're missing any of the 56 cards for your favorite player, just post your want list here so we can help each other. Hopefully, you also have some spares that some on this thread will need.

I'm currently 87% complete (including cards on the way).

Muskiesfan, Which one do you have? Do you have any of these to trade, or are you looking to buy? My Dunn type-set is complete and I have 5 spare Dunns for trade/sell.

Anyone else want to join the fun with your favorite player? If I don't have spares of them, I'll help you find them during my search.

I was finally able to locate and obtain the final pair of cards for Steve Garvey. I now have the entire 56 card Steve Garvey run! It only took 6 years!!

Super Job!! I only hope that one day I'll complete my Frank Thomas and Bo Jackson sets also! I've only seen one #/5 Frank Thomas card (got outbid), and none of them for Bo (yet).

AJ, Don't give up. I'm now missing 9 Frank Thomas cards and I've been trying to keep you progressing as well. I think I've been successful so far. Maybe more of the others who visit this thread can start to help you, me, and each other. I'm always looking for more Frank Thomas and Bo Jackson cards for this set. As long we all keep our wishlists updated here, at least I'll keep trying to help everyone (especially as I finish up my type set). All, please try to kep your wish lists up-to-date. I haven't hand counter them in a while, but I know I have over 250 spares to trade with/sell.

BTW, I've now completed 36 player type sets. The most recent completions were Ramirez, Schilling, Carlton, Ivan Rodriguez, and Teixeira. I'm also missing only 1 card for 30 other players in this set. Overall, (if I include inbound cards & cards in my COMC inventory), I'm at around 89% complete (~713 cards!). I know, I'm nuts, but this has been a fun quest.

I only need the White - B&W Estrellas #/5 Bo Jackson card to complete my 1st 56-card set (yes, I'm working on a 2nd set too).
