2005 Studio Portraits cards

I just completed Type Sets #43 & 44 (J. Santana an dK. Gibson). After all on-order cards arrive, I'll be at 91 % complete!! I'm getting there (800 cards) a little at a time.

I recently sold 3 Josh Beckett cards to help a fellow player collector with his 56-card set. Are there any other player collectors out there trying to complete this massive 56-card set of their favorite player?

I'm still looking for the 9 Frank Thomas and 1 VHTF Bo Jackson card (#/5) listed above. Can anyone help, or want to trade since I have over 450 of these to trade/sell.

Thanks a lot for remembering me. I had just seen the Bo card, but didn't realize he had more 2005 S.P. cards for sale.

I can tell you ahead of time I don't have any of the cards you need, but I'm working on the Mariano Rivera set. Do you have any you would part with? I'm only about 1/2 complete, though I do have the /5 version.

I only have one of his: I have the Blue-Color Diamond Kings reverse Ser #48/50. Is this one you need?

The only Studio Portraits I can immediately put my hands on is a Bob Feller Studio /45. Can you use that?

I just finished Type Set #48 today, Ken Griffey Jr. Woo Hoo! I can't believe I'm only 59 cards away from finishing this 800 card type Set (If I include my inbound and COMC inventory cards). Then, I'll probably keep improving the serial numbers I have and helping others with their sets.

white but it looks more grey?

Yes, the gray-colored border is called "white" by Donruss. FMI on all 56 variations, see the 1st page of this thread. My automatic snipe didn't even get posted because it was too low. I couldn't believe that card went for $75. How many of the 56 variations do you have or are you trying for an 8-card type set of Griffey?

I only have 5 right now but try and pick them up when I see them.
I wouldn't stop until I had them all but now that the 1 of the 5 is going
into a collection is going to make it harder. I am going to start grabbing

What 5 cards do you have? I've ben working on Frank Thomas' 56-card set for 6 years now and I'm still missing 9 cards (including the #/5). Do you have any Frank Thomas cards or just Griffey?

So, who's still chasing this set, and what's your progress? It had been over a year since I found any of the remaining Grace's I need, and just in the past week I found 2, from different sellers. Excited to knock of the White B&W #/10, second lowest serial number on the list! I'm at 45/56 now. Did anyone ever finish a full set for a player?
