2011 Ginter Code: Let's Get Started.

Have a database of 202 cards with their corner data, that's slightly over half of the set. A few stats:

-- 113 with black corners, 88 with gold corners (missing Weeks data);

-- all SP (301-350) I found are all gold;

-- for black corners: 1 corner = 2 (Votto bottom left, Wade Davis, top left), top 2 = 8, bottom 2 = 9, left 2 = 5, right 2 = 0, 3 corners = 1 (Brandon Phillips, missing bottom right), all corners = 84, info missing = 4

-- for gold corners: 1 corner = 0, top 2 = 10, bottom 2 = 1, left 2 = 4, right 2 = 5, all corners = 65, info missing = 3

I pulled a Reid Brignac code card, do you need the info for your database? I'm not trying to anything with the code, so I don't care. I'm just frustrated knowing how hard these code cards are gonna be to get for the players I collect. I'm still having a terrible time finding 2099 A&G code parallels!

Been looking a bit, and a start of the puzzle, from the top right corner for the black figures, going top-to-bottom:

Votto - Zambrano - Barton - Scott

that is of course only valid if no other code card has the same top left black corner as Zambrano has...

I would say we're almost to the point where.. if you sat down for 5 hours and made a concerted effort to get scans of all the cards, you could do it.

Maybe one more day, but it's getting close to that point.

Maybe one more day, but it's getting close to that point.

Looked at it this morning. Well, looked at one zip file in Google Documents. I'm not quite sure how to arrange this stuff yet.

No... you see, everyone here has been openly contributing. You are hoping for someone to send you something exclusively in return for what may or may not be new information. We're not inputting thoughts for the benefit of one person here. Even if only one person here ties all of the clues together, I would think any of them would give props to FCB for the aid.

There are some people - having a feeling you're in this group - that are more about seeing their name on a piece of cardboard and patting yourself on the back for work that was done - in majority - by others.

I do not have a website; however, I can convert the spreadsheet to a PDF document if it's easier for you to put on your own website.

I guess right now we are at the point that we need to distinguish between the gold and the black message. So far, I have only seen "corner" pieces for the black messages, i.e. Like the Votto and the Wade Davis I sent you. The other interesting piece is the Brandon Phillips that only has 3 corners with the code. That too me indicates that the Phillips is the final piece of the message, with it's bottom left corner being the last character of the Ginter code.

Marmol is the black card that has 3 corners.
