Overall Jerry does not draft well, I'm not sure if its him or the Cowboys scouts who struggle to evaluate prospects.

Murray is the biggest head scratcher. I could understand taking a back in the 5th round after they addressed a few other positions of need but not in a the 3rd. The Cowboys now have wholes at Safety and possibly at DE if they let Spears walk.

Don't the Cowboys already have Choice, Barber and Jones? What do they need Murray for? Are they gonna run the single-wing or something?

 , darn good question. Murray has durability issues just like Jones but he's another 4.4 guy. For a francise that had success w/ a slower back they only want ones who are burners. I'd love to know what Choice did that the Cowboys can't go w/ him as the starter.

he only lost a game for us

and why dont you like the Murray pick? already read on 2 sites that he will be the 3rd down back and that Barber is gone for sure.

Murray will be our starter in 2 years and i dont see Choice being with us after this year

Really, I thought that play occured before halftime and wasn't it Barron who got called for holding on the TD catch?

Murray has good hands and good straight line speed. He isn't a power runner, he doesn't really make people miss, and he has durability issues. What does he bring to the Cowboys that they don't already have? Choice is the best of the three but he lacks 4.4 speed.

I hate watching some of the players I like not being drafted. I figured if Maxwell was drafted then DeAndre would be of the board by around the same time.

get off your kool aid. as good as you think Choice is, he will never have a shot in Big D.

Murray and Felix are the future

If that is the true Jerry and Garrett are fools. Between Murray and Jones they will be lucky to get 16 games combined from them.

I thought the Pitt players that got drafted went pretty much where they were expected to go. I thought Baldwin was late 1st-early 2nd. Sheard went where I thought he would and it was cool to see Lewis & Pinkston go back to back. I thought Romeus would go higher, but I guess his back issues scared teams, which is understandable.

I'm surprised Herzlich wasn't selected. He didn't have a great combine but he consistently performed on the field.

Why wouldn't a team draft him in the 7th round, at that point, what do you have to lose? The reward out weighs the risk IMO. If he fails, who cares, it was just a 7th round pick.

He does have a rod in his leg from the treatment apparently.

With that said, this always gets me with the NFL draft. I have a hard time believing that guys like Alex Wujack, DeAndre McDaniel, Dane Sanzenbacher, Mark Herzlich, Jeff Maehl, etc. are less of a prospect that these small school guys. The produced big time at the highest level in college.

I know there is the size issue, but give me Kendric Burney any day over Cortez Allen, for example.
