Pm sent - any thoughts on value for my Ripken Blue? I know whatever have sold for but I am thinking that I may be wrong now and it may be more scarce than I originally thought. Sell of red is 500 and 375 I have seen and 400 and 300 for the Blue. I am starting to think 400 is low comared to other Ripken card autos numbered /25 or less.

One board member has a blue Ripken. One sold on Ebay for $300. SO I would guess value in $300-$400 range on it. Only way to really tell is let ride on Ebay. Everybody knows their are a lot of ssp autos this year. Let them fight it out for it.
Aaron red goes down tonight.

Double digits on Kaline and Koufax. I will proceed under the assumption that Topps would have printed Koufax and Aaron in equal availability. Many of these are finding their way to eBay at the rate that the 2009s printed to 49 (last year of a stated PR). 50 will be my working guess; for now.

Pujols on the other hand could between 10-25.........has anyone seen another Pujols Blue Ink anywhere? 2 Reds ($650) and 1 Blue ($400) have been listed on eBay.

I have only seen the one Pujols listed so far and have not seen any pulled on other boards. Are we thinking some of the current MLB'ers are Sp'd to 49 as well? I have not seen many Wells, CarGo's, and Crawfords listed at all. Unless people are holding there could be less than 49 of these players as well. I wanted to say thank you for continually updating this list. Makes it much easier to track who is an SP.

I think I have seen one other Pujols blue redemption up, a couple of weeks ago. I can't find it on completed listings, but I swear I have seen one

4 Ripken reds have surfaced and 2 blues. I think there are people holding back on some of the HOF'ers and possibly the presses were cranked up as only 2 red back minis have surfaced of Ripken. Those are numbered /25. More product to open to hit the saturation point on some of these inserts. Can anyone who opens a lot of this stuff compare insert ratios for the last two years?

Will be interesting how many of these ssp will be on dealer tables at the National. Maybe some FCBers will report back on what they see. Could be some big dealers are waiting to list them after the national and see if they can move them there first.

Good thinking - that could be a definite possibility.

I know for a fact that I am bringing my Crawfords, Wells, and Cargo's down to Nationals to try and sell. I will keep an eye out and keep FCB posted as to what A & G autos I see.

Most of what has hit eBay seem to be similar to the 2011 Autos which had a print run of 25.

I know of several other Ripken Blue autos not to have hit eBay.......I am tracking solely eBay listing with this thread.

Spoke with a friend at the Natty.......seems that 35-50 (ish) is the Print Run for "most" of the current and retired stars. Several a 25 OR LESS. He could not get a specific number so they played the ballpark guessing game. Also, a comment was, "Surprised a Pujols Blue Ink has been pulled". Others that are currently tougher could be assumed packed into retail.

Not surprised if they are shortprinted that much. I have not seen any of the players at the nationals so far, only the common autos.

You may be on to something with your retail idea - I saw a guy on Twitter pulled a Kaline from a few retail packs
