2024 Hobby goals

I didn't officially post goals for 2024, but they would have been the same as in 2023 (and the previous few years):

• One non-1/1 off the needs list
  • Nope. (Although I did add six cards to the non-1/1 needs list, all from 2022, then obtain five of them.) With only nine or so non-1/1s left, however, checking one off happens once every few years at most.
• One 1/1
  • Yep. Not a bad one, either: 2007 Topps Moments & Milestones magenta printing plate, both framed and autographed. One of Gomes's 16 autographed 1/1s.
• One game-used bat
  • Yep. 2005–07 Devil Rays Max bat.
• One game-used jersey
  • Yep. In fact, I got three! Two of these are early jerseys from his Devil Rays days; the third is an alternate "patriotic" jersey from his time with the Nationals.

Not a bad year at all, especially with all the game-used pickups. The above pickups are posted in the Jonny Gomes thread.

Well, it’s November now. I’ve been slowly chipping away at the 1997 Finest master set (no refractors though). I knew it would be tough since both silver and gold subset cards also have an embossed version.

Updated the checklist in my link with what I have so far.

Everything else? Went on the back burner due to my health and I’ll be honest, if I’m able to finish any of the sets I started, I’ll consider it a small victory.
