Why would that be hard to believe? This guy has a validated history of breaking the code. Why are people here so skeptical?

Considering we don't even know if any of the stuff posted in this thread had anything to do with the code...

Was it easier or harder than last year. Is seemed like it would be less obvious this year without a special code insert.

Vw - it was definitely harder than last year. Much more frustrating for sure considering there wasn't a real clear place to start as their weren't any clear code cards. I had given up a couple times but kept coming back...glad to have it out of the way now so I can focus on other things!! I just hope I was the first to do it...

Not sure...we will see. The Strasburg auto is a nice prize in itself though!

I'm sure it has already been broken, it doesn't help us common folk when past winners get their products
early and have exclusive access to topps employees for questions. The whole, lets do it as a forum is
garbage, you might be the only guy in history to have the niceness to share what you knew. Good Luck.

Not yet, but I know based on what I got that the answer was right. I just have to see if I was the first. I'm sure they are out for the all-star game so hopefully I hear back in the middle of next week...

Not sure if that's aimed at me or not, but just for the record, I got my case when everyone else did, and when I got it really didn't matter...I didn't make any traction on the code until yesterday. And no, I don't have "exclusive access" to anyone...that'd be nice though!

And the forum didn't matter...no one in this thread is remotely close to the right answer...

I think the guy is saying that nobody was close... it's not like anyone here had any clear, obvious hints, just random connections that may or may not have been intention and part of the code! It's one thing to know what a clue might be, it's a whole different monster trying to put it together! It's not like it's all contained on one card.

And even if there was something similar to what somebody has posted here, aren't you being a bit naive to think that whoever posted it is the ONLY person who could've possibly noticed the 'hint'? It's not like the five or six contributors and Nick are the only guys trying to solve this thing, there are probably many others without <GASP> blogs or FBC accounts!!

The idea of the post was to help each other out and from what I could tell everyone was doing that except one
person, kinda selfish if you ask me, why even show your face here? only to gloat? I could of waited to see who

They were posted on the internet, a place that anyone can get info from.

I'm sorry but if anyone had a direct lead on the code and they haven't solved it they aren't going to post what they are doing.

First off, thanks to the people who congratulated me...still not sure if I was the first so hold it for now!

schmidtfan - I apologize, I skipped over the FCB rules when I signed up that I was supposed to share every clue and lead I got with everyone. Next year I'll be sure to give you every bit of information directly. Was I really supposed to do all this work and post it for everyone else and then not get the credit? And please direct me to the part of this thread where I was gloating?? And sorry, I cracked it last year without clues from this board and cracked it this year without clues from this board, I don't know why that's so difficult for you to comprehend. Your constant negativity gives me a good laugh though, so don't let up!

Believe it or not this is a huge relief, I cant even do the F-IN cryptoquip in my newspaper so overly hopeful I was not.

Congrats Nick if you were the first, I cant wait to see how you broke it down.
