But then again they got their scape goat in pinstripes they will now say its un-ethetical to release the other players names.js0000001 said:Glad I never laid out any big bucks for any of his signed stuff. watch the interview, i think people that hate him will see him in a different light than bonds and clemens...hes on the verge of tears and you can tell how much he regrets what he did

yea, now that he's been caught.
Smart move by Arod. Doesn't really change my opinion of him. Never liked him back when I thought he was clean.

Are you sure he's not on the verge of tears because he regrets getting caught? Good for him for admitting what everyone already knows but the fact is he's a cheater. He went on 60 Minutes 3 days after the Mitchell Report was published and gushed about how confident he is on a baseball field and that he's never felt over-matched on the diamond. He's concerned with image and that's all. If he was truly sorry he wouldn't have continued for three years. It looks like he only stopped because he couldn't get away with it anymore, not because he knew it to be wrong. What little like or respect I had for the guy is gone and he's only got himself to blame for any fallout. He didn't have to take such a high profile stance after the report and could have simply given a no-comment but he had to go the Palmiero route and emphatically deny usage. He was and is only concerned about public perception and as a result loses so much credibility in the eyes of fans and fellow players.
