The sheet clearly states "...hand signed previously released trading cards.."

I do not think even you Jeff could make a case that applying an aftermarket sticker to a otherwise non-auto'd card would constitute a card being "hand signed". Having said that, I have 100% faith that there will be no after market sticker cards in this product. (This is under the assumption that we can accept pack pulled sticker auto cards as 'hand signed', but even then saying they are 'hand signed' would be less than truthful unless the cards had the stickers on them before they were signed)

EDIT: I would think Brian is smart enough to NOT allow any sticker auto's in that product, aftermarket or otherwise, if he is clearly advertising all of them as hand signed cards.

Since you want to get technical on the wording...

1) EVERY card/sticker is "hand signed" unless it's autopenned.

2) The cards are called "buybacks", but since Leaf didn't produce or issue them, they're only buys, not buybacks.

Correction, No where on the sheet does it mention 'hand signed stickers', but rather "...hand signed previously released trading cards..". Also worth correcting, when I said "I do not think even you Jeff could make a case that applying an aftermarket sticker to a otherwise non-auto'd card would constitute a card being "hand signed"." of course I meant logical and conclusive argument.

If I sold you 10 1986 FLEER MJ RC cards 'hand signed' all in psa/dna slabs, and you recieved them with stickers on them, whould you be singing the same technical tune?

I'm guessing it's been said, maybe not. Does the sticker on the cards follow w/ the look of the autos in the set? I'd prefer not to have stickers but I'm not going to get angry about 20 or so autos in a product of hundreds if not thousands of cards.

Indeed, and by no means am I slanting your opinion here, as it's obviously a possibility that there will be sticker auto stuff in there, I mean it does not go against the laws of physics of which we know about. It's just if I were being told that 100% of all cards will be "...hand signed previously released trading cards..", I'm thinking each card will be hand signed. Surely we as a hobby population have not come accustom to recieving sticker auto's and consider them 'hand signed cards' have we? Even in todays market where sticker auto's are prevelent in most products, we dont consider them 'hand signed cards'...?

Bah, maybe it's just me, but when I read "...hand signed previously released trading cards.." I'm not thinking aftermarket stickers, or even pack pulled stickers (although I guess this is more commonly accepted as long as it was originally packed out that way)...

So this thread goes back to the same old chestnut that those who hate stickers think that is a majority of the hobby. I would take on card over sticker but it wouldnt stop me from buying either.

This product isnt for everyone. I didnt buy any because i didnt see the checklist but if i did buy and pulled that durant, I wouldnt have been crushed by that.

This thread reinforces the old notion that baseball card collectors are indeed nerds.

If you're referring to the Durant cards, then yes they would have been stickers had then been released. Basketball Bowman Chrome is stickers, unlike baseball.

Then it follows the theme of the product. I'd prefer w/o but if it follows the product, then blame topps. Ah yes, Topps isn't around to take verbal abuse.

Razor is no longer in business.
I called it RRR as most of you have referred to it as that before..
I stand corrected... Apparently, I am not perfect.

BG, I thought you were no longer responding to the boards
(or only when a lawyer talks)???

Just breaking your balls! ;)

I thought he was going to throw this great awesome contest for me not posting in a Leaf thread for a month. That didn't happen either, which kinda surprises me. I thought he would just so he can get more minions on his side.

Making Topps reps/CEO's smarter than the company man that comes on here and gets into ridiculous pissing matches with collectors by name calling, throwing out insulting rude remarks and threatening litigation every other day. Let's not forget the multiple "You guys suck, I'm gone for good" posts. Topps and other companies make their products, release their products and let the cards speak for themselves. Good or bad. They don't come here, or any other forum, acting like some two-bit carnie ringmaster looking to drum up business only to piss off half their consumer base by acting like a complete tool.

Critisism comes with any career. I deal with critisism on a daily basis in ways most of you couldn't imagine in my line of work. You compartmentalize, internalize the frustration that you cannot take out on the public or in this case the consumer and you move on. So the arguement that BG is only defending his product is weak at best. Any mature adult should know better. So there are those who don't like him. So what. There are those that don't like his product. So what. There are those that don't like how he peddles his products. So what. And there are those that won't ever like him or his products even if he inserted a bar of gold in each pack. So what. It comes with the territory. Suck it up and drive on.
