Thank you!MallCopKJ said:7-5 w/ a 3.55 ERA on the road for Sabathia.
8-2 w/ a 2.23 ERA on the road for Buchholz.
I'll take the AL ERA leader. Clayton Maximus Buchholz.

Yes, I agree I am a bit biased....but he is the friggen AL ERA leader!!!
A few of those pitchers deserve it over CC. Take away the W/L and then tell me who wins it....be honest.

even if you leave the W/L he's the same as Price.
I'm just sad Lester fell apart. Wasn't that long ago he would've been in this poll.

Give me any of these guys over Pricerehmus said:scotty21690 said:I never said Price deserved it over CC, lol.
i was merely saying Buchholz has a better claim than Price.
More non-Sox fans were saying Price than Buchholz.
pac213up said:Close between Buchholz and Price but I will take the guy with the lowest ERA in the AL.

Thank'd!
I still believe it is between Buchholz and Sabathia, with buchholz with a slight lead at the moment.
I feel it will come down to the last few weeks for this decision to be final.

I will tell you now, unless he can get about 5-6 more wins he won't be winning the CY. He is having an amazing year, but I can not see writers giving the award to a guy who is one game under .500

josh hamilton MVP
vladdy (maybe if he ever comes back) come back player of the year
washington manager of the year
Seems like a good year for the rangers![]()

Since the Start of June he is 13-2
In that same span he has 16 consecutive quality starts, which is third longest streak by any AL pitcher this millennium. Others being Santana (21) in 2004 and Felix Hernandez (19) last year.
During the same span he had gotten at least 1 out in the 7th inning in 15 consecutive starts, which was snapped today due to a long rain delay. It was the longest streak by an AL pitcher since Jack Morris in 1983, who did that in (19) consecutive starts.
