Chuck Meriwether had a horrible night behind the dish. Right down the pipe, belt high was a Ball. 3-5 inches off the plate either side was a Strike every time. I usually despise Dick and Bert but they were hounding Chuck tonite. Wonder what his "Zone Tech" rating was for this game??

Speaking of my man Ramos, I now have 5 of these and several other nice cards. Waiting on the DEEE /50 and the Platinum /25 to arrive.

Glad to see the Twins get a thread, too bad I dont have anything recent to show off.

I will be getting the Mauer Bronze statue as soon as the game happens. I wish I could go, but not being in MN anymore kinda blows for that.

Funny enough, someone did send me a signed Mauer Mini-bat through my site from just memorabilia. That was amazing. Then I got to see the great finish last night, amazing. Hopefully ill get something good to show off soon.

His strikezone was awful, but at least it was consistent. Both teams had a player take what was in reality strike three, right down the middle, but Meriweather called them balls.

I can take a poor strikezone as long as it doesn't move around.

Good thing Justin got his homer. Having that "When's he going to get his first?" stuff hanging over you can be a drag. Now he can relax, and let it go. Watching the game, Bo?

Nope, working, and you know I can't watch it on MLB.tv... ;)

GREAT hustle for Morneau.

Gotta love that Twins baseball!

Who, BTW, has to be the worst batter in MLB with the bases loaded. Just sayin.

It's certainly not his strong suit at the moment. All it might take is a couple bases loaded hits though and he'll be more relaxed in those situations and pick it up.

As much as I want Delmon to be a star here, it is the right call at the moment.

Craig

I totally disagree. Cuddy should be the one sitting. I don't care about his contract, he is the worst of the 5 OF's.

You keep saying that, but what is your basis for your claim?

How do you expect some one like Delmon to develop if they keep yanking him in and out of the lineup? His ceiling is much higher than Cuddys. Cuddy was brutal last year before he got hurt and has been brutal so far this year.

How does Delmon's development being hindered equal Cuddy being "the worst of the 5 OF?"

As for Cuddy being brutal, prior to Casilla in the 9th yesterday he was the only guy getting hits with runners in scoring position, and did you see Delmon hit yesterday? Plus Cuddy is a far better defensive outfielder than Delmon is.

I think you've listened to too much KFAN (really any time is to much KFAN, though).

If someone told me that Cuddyer was the worst of the five, I would say they didn't know what they were talking about... and that there was a good possiblity that it was nikateen saying it. You have to just laugh at his "knowledge" and not fight with him. He's one of the worst Twins "fans" i've ever seen.

Saying Cuddyer should not have gotten a contract or should not be playing in complete assinine.
