Things went awry and that is his fault for lack of communication. Plain and simple.
He got crucified here, that is plain to see. By many folks. And I'd say justifiably so based on his actions.
I have reserved judgement.
However, I find it amusing that, now that it looks like things are going to be OK, the Talmer supporters are coming out of the woodwork. Where were all of you went things weren't looking so rosy? It must be nice to sit and judge from afar when you have nothing at stake....
Sorry, standup guy in my book is not a person that still has yet to post regarding this situation and has taken the route of communicating through someone else after numerous attempts to get a hold of him went unanswered. While it is understandable that he had family issues to deal with and the submission is still taking place, I find it hard to believe anyone involved in this would consider the guy to be "standup" any longer.
So you find it amusing people didn't support him when he was clearly wrong for not keeping the group updated with the situation? While I am sure everyone is happy the submission is moving forward, I highly doubt anyone involved would consider the situation ROSY. Just because you chose to support him based on past dealings doesn't mean that YOU were correct and everyone else was wrong. Anyone who passed judgement before the facts were basing it on HIS actions or in this case, no actions. So I find it amusing you are pumping your chest as a supporter when you really had no business supporting him because he was WRONG in this case.
