Hey all, I'm a mod over there. We had a major server issue and things are being worked on, Mark is on vacation and Pete's wife just had their first child the other day so Pete has been a little busy. As of last night I heard that it should be up this week, but could possibly take until Sunday to get everything squared away due to Pete's real Life stuff.

Sorry for this, it was an unforseen problem.

I couldn't agree more.
It's next to impossible to find cards of my main player interest (Jim Rice ) and I would have thought the opposite once became a HOF'er.

I am not sure to be honest, Do see a lot of high end get posted and want lists are usually prospects. Unless I should get in on the prospect game myself?

I dont think it has anything to do with price.

Ive been looking for various HOF'er autos for various sets and cant ever find them...even finding HOF autos in general is tough

Same with Vintage.

I posted a long while back asking if anyone had vintage Mantles ft/fs, and got no response.

Im working on the 98 Significant Signatures auto set (which most of are priced below $35), posted here, and got basically no responses.

It's not a bad thing that here is a prospect board, because I loved prospecting when I was able to do it, but now that i've moved onto HOF stuff and vintage, this board definitely isnt my first place I go to try and acquire it.

I do both. Lately, my prospecting helps me build my PC. Prospects almost never stay in the PC...

Most of the cards there seemingly are for sale or eventual sale on ebay. Only a few that change hands seem destined to be in a PC for a lengthy period of time anytime soon. But that's just my take.

I'd say it's the exact opposite of this. It is because everyone that trades here is looking for steals on prospects that they can flip.

If there was a solid trading core here, I'd have almost no reason to go to other websites.

I cant wait to see it since I dabble in both.

I would say though some of my nicer HOF cards lately have been from this site, it isnt always easy to find them but they can ber found with some work. Also, if you bring folks over who deal in non prospect cards, it will help to help it happen faster.
