I had the brilliant foresight to draft him for my fantasy football team...

...and then I left him on the bench!

Most 200 rushers were not one hit wonders but, yes, Naplolean Kauffman does make the list. I'd expect Schaub to be throwing more often than he did against the Colts. The nice early lead allowed Houston to ground and pound. Touches for Foster will likely be more limited in future games. Not sure about buy/hold/sell. Foster is not a household name so there is room to grow there. Further, he does not have a lot of rookie cards. Any further demand growth with this short supply would yield large price increases (despite the big spike today). On the other side it will be difficult to garner any more hype than right now and there is always concern for injuries when it comes to backs.

You've mentioned some very good points there buddy, one that you missed was the fact that Steve Slaton is still rostered, healthy, & still very much in the "scheme of things" for the Houston Texans & thier backfield. Although Slaton may very likely still reside in coach Gary Kubiak's "dog-house" that doesn't mean he will stay there. While today was HUGE for Foster in term's of production, the day was also a good one for Slaton as he came away averaging 4.8yds per carry & rushing 6 times for 29yds....But the most important aspect of Slaton's game was what he "didn't" do....He had zero fumbles, he was never close to letting that ball touch the turf/grass! Neither Slaton, or Foster, fumbled the rock & those zero's on the stat sheet may very well be the most important stat of the day for those player's, as well as the whole team! I'm certain that zero has allowed Slaton to take a step or so out of Kubiak's "dog-house"... While the positive implications this will have on Slaton's playing time (while also cutting into Foster's) are yet to be seen, given the natural ability & talent that Slaton has when handed the ball, I'd say a timeshare at the runningback position isn't too far-fetched of an idea when discussing the Texans future!

Foster did post a 100+ yard and near 100 yard game to close out last season.

Yeah, those thinking this is a "fluke" haven't followed the Texans... ;)

Reppin' the real UT.

Foster didn't go to Texas, dude
Exactly, Tennessee alum.

Yeah and when Tennessee can beat Texas...pigs will fly.

As for Foster...this is no surprise. My only question was what would Tate bring to the table? I guess right now it doesn't matter but what happens if all three are good? Then what? Is Slaton already considered damaged goods? How about Tate? Who gets the majority playing time out of the two?

Came out of nowhere, good for him and the Texans, good thing I didn't face him in any fantasy games.

He has another...in Bowman Draft. I know this because I shipped out a freebie to a member on another board of him last year.

He also has an Elite, UD Draft, Score, etc...what I really found interesting was that in-person autos on his Bowman Draft card were selling for $80 each...nobody knows if the signatures are real or not...and there were multiples that sold that high...What happens to prices when the Texans start to throw the ball again and his touches dry up?
