Indeed he has been. I remember back in Spring Training I was rooting against him so that we could go with Drury as the full time 3rd baseman.

I guess the jump in extra base power has come from a significant increase in his bat velocity, in fact the largest increase in all of baseball (from 2015 to 2016).
