Looks as if the D-Backs have finally admitted defeat and the fire sale has begun. Ziegler is the first to go.

Basabe looks to be a good find (top 10 organizational prospect) with five-tool *potential* but the other guy (Almonte) doesn't appear to be anything real special.

Only players I'd really like to hold onto are Goldy, Lamb, Segura, Castillo, Drury, *******, Bradley, Greinke & Ray (for the bullpen). I really don't care what happens to the rest of them.

Struck out the side but it took him 28 pitches to do so. If Ray could just cut down on his walks and become more pitch efficient so he could go deeper into games he'd be a very effective #2 /#3 pitcher. He's got an incredible k/9 rate.

After hitting that leadoff double Goldy's back to being a .300 hitter again.
