Got a good deal on the last of a local store's 2009/10 Topps basketball. They had 2 jumbo and 4 regular Hobby packs for regular price, which I know is hard to find. Now I know this place searches their packs, but also I know the best stuff to pull aren't the "hits", but the Chrome and parallels.
Did the 4 regular packs first. One gold /2009 per pack. One rookie in all 4 packs, Earl Clark. No Chrome at all.
First Jumbo had NO rookies at all. :? But one of the Chromes was a Dwight Howard gold 23/50. Very nice looking too. 4 golds /2009 including 'Melo.
Second Jumbo had 5 rookies: T.Williams, G. Henderson, Hansborough, J. Holiday (who I can sell locally) and Blake Griffin. 4 more golds /2009 including Shaq.
So, no BIG hits, but I basically broke even, so I'm pleased and VERY happy to get a Griffin, even though it's only about an $8 card. One complaint was the usual odd Topps co-allation led to me getting a ton of doubles out of only 4 packs 'cuz of the Jumbo and regular having the same cards packed together.
All are available and I can send you a list of the 12 Golds /2009 if anyone is looking to do that set.
