Nick Noonan: .304 AVG, 6 HR, .362 OBP, .795 OPS, .433 SLG (356 AB)
It's been a long time since the 2007 Draft, but Noonan has finally put together a breakout season as a 23 year old in the PCL. Granted, it's in the PCL, but his numbers shouldn't be scoffed out. Also, Noonan was converted back to Shortstop (High school position) last year after spending his entire professional career as a Second Baseman, so he is putting up these numbers at a premium position as well.
At one time it looked like Noonan was going to be a future part of San Fran's middle infield, but after a couple disappointing seasons he has been all but forgotten, until now. I havne't found any first hand scouts on Noonan from this year, so I'm not sure if he fixed something in his approach/swing or if his numbers are just a product of the PCL. Either way, Noonan deserves more attention then he is recieving.
