Well, I went to the show will little cash in hand, and my credit card, but didn't want to use it. Figure I was only going to go for an hour or two, which is NOT typical for me, usually I spend all damn weekend.
Anyways, got there at open, started to wander around.
1st purchase - Christian Yelich Elite Auto, Vogelbach sterling ref auto, Kirkpatrick ref auto redemption (blue wave pack) = $15 total
Then I saw a visitor selling prospects to dealers, so I grabbed him and asked if I could see what he was selling.
2nd purchase - (3) Jeimer Candelario Chrome autos, (2) Starling Marte chrome Autos, Carlos martinez chrome auto, Carlos Martinez chrome ref auto - $50 total
So I was pretty happy with my purchases, got see some buds, and was ready to head out. So I decided to grab 4 topps chrome football boxes and head to the card.
1st box - RG3 3 color patch auto /10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4th box - Andrew Luck Prism Refractor Auto /50!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I went back inside, RCR'd the Luck which got a 9.5/10 and ended up deciding to sell the pair. I had a really tough time determing a price on the griffen, but sold the pair for a nice hefty profit. Cleared well over a $1k after all purchases and expenses. Aint too shabby.
For once, wax actually paid off
So you could say the show worked out well!
