I thought someone did a last minute bid on the green?

subject to change said:Two questions for those of you that follow these.
How often do the Crusades tend to pop up, and were these ending prices typical of what they reach at auction, or was the price bumped by the fact that he had so many listed at once?
I always thought the Crusades were nice cards, but now I'm going to be trying a little more actively to pick up the Pirates from the set.

Can't wait to post mine. SNAIL MAIL SUCKS!
clarkfan said:I bid on almost all of them, but won only one Kevin Millwood (woo flippin hoo). But I did win a 1993 Finest Refractor of Kevin Mitchell . . . needed that card for awhile. And then, I purchased his Crusade Set of Will Clark through email, so I had a good haul overall.
And I agree, we will never see something like this on ebay again . . . well, at least for a LONG time. I suppose he still has some purples and reds to list, so that will be even more fun to watch, but after that, this type of seller may never surface again.
And yeah, I can't believe Charlie Hayes 1993 Finest Refractor sold for $255 & Willie Greene for $161. I had no idea some of the 1993 commons could still fetch crazy prices like that.
clarkfan said:Millwood was like $8.00 something, pretty cheap.

Mind if I ask how much he wanted for the Red Sosa?

He originally asked for $400 and I got it for $250.
