I was thinking that ESPN should air a match but don't they sometimes last a couple of days?

There are different types of matches. There may be other formats, but there are 5-day test matches, and one-day jobs like the impending World Cup match between Pakistan and India that has the whole subcontinent in an uproar.

I like cricket. I'll have to relearn the rule each time I see it, but once you get what's happening, with the overs and the batting order and all that, it's nice. It's like baseball, only a lot more so, and if you're in the right mood it can be entrancing.

Every once in a while I'll come across a match late at night on the Outdoor Channel or some other obscure channel. I remember I was watching this guy called Jhonty Rhodes I think, he was the A-Rod of cricket at the time. I don't understand much about the game, but he was able to do whatever he wanted to with the bat. It's not always just winding up and hitting it as hard as you can.
