This thread, and everything associated with it, is absolutely ridiculous. This is a FREE message board brought about by collectors for collectors. If you do not like general direction of the forum, dont visit. I, for one, have never had a better experience on any message board on the internet and I appreciate everything that Chris and the rest of the moderation staff have done to provide such a great place to discuss our collective hobby. Everyone that is demanding an explanation for what happened, get over yourself. We are all here to enjoy the hobby, not act like 15 year old girls.

That answers your question.

You agree to it by joining the site.

SCARY!!!

It shouldn't be.

It is a statement/rule that basically is a precaution taken to make sure all other rules are followed.

As long as you abide by the laws of the site, you shouldn't have to worry about it.

i disagree.

We don't directly access anyone's pms unless there is evidence that person is ripping someone off.

It is scary, even if you dont do anything wrong. Because who states what is wrong. It is a paranoid mindset.

That is a similar argument people use to say illegal search and seizures are ok in cases.

One of the primary concerns I have, is that mypens used CC instead of blind carbon copy to email you guys.

Now everyone that has ever registered here has access to our mailing list.

he did not promote CI through PM's

Chris,
What does PM stand for? I always thought it meant PRIVATE Message. Are you guys reading out PM's? WTF is that sh*t?

+1

that would be me. No, we don't read your PMs. but if someone is causing trouble on the board or creating bad trades, PMs will likly be gone through to help find a resolution. That said I AM THE ONLY ONE ON THE SITE, that has access to this information.

So what is to stop you (or any other mod) from reading any of our PM's? I always wondered why certain members would send e-mails instead of PM's. Now I know.

He's not the "true founder" of this site. He opened a board and when Chris proposed a better option for the members he agreed to transfer over. Chris is the founder. Plain and simple.

Sooo, according to you, Chris never agreed to run this site WITH MyPens66? And Chris had the idea to bring all the Beckett traffic to a new message board?

He did on both accounts. I talked with Chris a lot during those first couple of days and he did come up with an idea, but the group had already moved. He had a board set up before Beckett collapsed that turned into this. I was one of like 10 members, nobody ever posted. So they did agree to move from Mypens boards to Chris boards.

Mypens never did anything for this site except be a member. I never saw any moderation from him and we already know that there was no money involved.

I really don't care how this turns out, because I really like this site and the people on it. But your post just gave me this scenario(sp).

Chris sets up a site and has about 10 members that nobody post's on.
Mike gets a bunch of people from the old BMB to join his site and people are posting like crazy.
Chris talks to Mike(15 or 16 yr old kid) and they agree to switch over to Chris's site, and it turns into FCB as it is today.

I'm not saying this is how it happened because I don't know, but this is the picture that your post just gave me.

There are no software restraints. However, you have to have DIRECT database access to do it. 2 people have that, me and bouwob. And well, you will just have to trust us, we can't hide that we have the ability to do that.

OT, but I am amazed by the cards in your sig...I hit F5 5-6 times in a thread just to see the next card :)

Thanks...I'm glad that Apharis showed us the site to create that code.
