Hey, forum. I used to be a poster over at the Beckett site a few years back (blakflag/Turd Ferguson); I recognize a handful of names that migrated over here (lisu, Nojo [never forgot about BUNNEH], Lawrence, etc.) going through some of the posts. Tried to pull up Beckett's forum but the layout is so god-awful that I closed the browser about three minutes into it.

Got out of the hobby all together but recently wanted to start putting back together a few sets I had sold; got rid of most of my collection and downsized personal possessions considerably. Also figured that I'd tear into a few boxes along the way (Topps Series 2 Jumbo should be here anyday) - recently opened 2010 Donruss EEE, 2011 Bowman and a particularly vomitous box of Ultimate Collection from 2007 (of course, got a redemption and Upper Deck refused to honor it....my fault, but reminded me that they still suck at quite a lot).

Hello everyone. Not sure how active I'll be. I'm typically a lurker but have started to try and have more of an online presence lately. I was an active member of The Collector's Group a few years ago (that place looks inactive now) and have been a member at The Bench trading for a while. Same ID's on those sites as this one. I lurk on Blowout as well but there are a lot of shenanigans there that keep me from really trying to be an active poster and get to know everyone. Hoping this will be my new online home.

I'm primarily a football guy but dabble in baseball and basketball.

Also my younger brother and I (He is 24, I'm 25) are writing a blog found here http://cardgeeks.blogspot.com/ We are trying to have some fun with it. Hi guys, My name is Mike and I recently joined although I've been reading for the last few months. By far the best site I've come across. I started collecting when I was 5 and stopped when I was 15. Began again about 2 yrs ago, I am now 29. I collect anything Cleveland (mostly Browns and Indians), anything Bob Sanders, dabble in a lil bit of vintage mlb/nfl and a lil MLB "prospecting". From time to time I list on Ebay and have a few items for trade/sale on my bucket.

The only thing baseball I collect is Jackie Robinson, sad, sad, i know...but i have my reasons...so if you have any Jackie Robinson cards...ESPECIALLY VINTAGE and jersey cards/AUTOS(hahaha, i wish)...i'm your man...

I need to start collecting more baseball, especially since that's where all the money is...but Football has my nuts right now...

Hey ya'll,

First time poster, long time lurker. I recently look a job in Alpharetta, GA and needed to find a local card shop. I stopped in at the FCB shop and bought a couple of boxes. I hadn't bought a box in years but was instantly re-hooked (I'll post my hit further down). I collect a little of everything baseball, but I've recently started a 1956 Topps psa 6 set. I'm only 3/342 but it looks like it will be a fun/slow adventure.
