Re: Ebay Bidders to Block/Sellers to Avoid

seller worthy of avoidance... only time I've ever had to leave neutral/negative feedback (I typically leave no feedback on unpleasant transactions that at least go through in the end.

rrgctown

Sold me a lot of 25 2012 topps golden giveaway cards.

doesn't mention that he does not ship the cards in his listing (they were for a gift). Emails them to my paypal address which i don't check often. After finding them, he only sent 20 of the 25 codes and of those only 18 worked. I then emailed about his mistake. He starts insulting me, saying I opened a case against him, which I didn't (although, I wonder if he's confused because my first email was through the ebay resolution center asking for tracking information). I have no open cases on ebay or paypal. Finally he takes care of the problem, but emails that he never had 25, he only had 23...

more or less one BIG headache and I have a bunch of ebay messages calling me a liar!

tomzcollectibles

Claims damage to card to try to get a partial refund. Refused to send card back for a full refund or to provide any evidence of the damage. 76 negative feedbacks left to his sellers over the past year.

Anyone sell anything to Jflow920? I'm always weary of people who start a new account and go on a buying spree.. I've been burned by a couple of those.. so far 29 positives in like a month, until today...

I'm beginning to think I'm going to be the second to leave positively negative buyer feedback.

Re: Ebay Bidders to Block/Sellers to Avoid

smgcrds - I made a $7 offer on a Topps Black Felix Hernandez card he has listed for 29.99 BIN OBO. He countered with 29.97. Why even have the OBO option, right? Obviously he thought my offer was low, but what kind of seller mocks a bid that badly? I happen to think the offer was fair. Anyways, I came back with $7.02. He blocked me. I just can't understand this kind of behavior. If you don't want lowball offers, set up an auto-reject.

I sent him a message apologizing, saying I'd hate to burn a bridge over a joke. He asked what I'd pay. I said $10. He responds "No thanks." and I remain blocked. For the better, I see now.

I don't know what the dude's eBay ID is now (formerly iziggdorsey) but he was somehow able to file an unauthorized Paypal transaction from Dec 10 on Feb 28. I'm guessing I'll be out $16.

Scott Brennan

eBay ID: ty8675309

Scammed me out of $24.99 via Topps Diamond Code Redemptions on eBay. I emailed them to him January 24th, he opens a claim on March 1 and eBay rules in his favor.

If he is a member here, I'd love to call him out and have him try to explain himself.

1) WHy didn't you protect yourself for $1.64 and send them via USPS, ESPECIALLY after he opened a claim?

2) Get his contact info from eBay and continue to contact him. You're an attorney... you know the buzzwords.

He asked me to email them to him and I decided go ahead and do it, regardless of the risk. The sale was near the end of the validity of the codes (Jan 31) so I figured I'd help him out. Problem with contacting him is he never left feedback, so my 100% goes bye-bye if I do it. Lesson learned for me. And people wonder why lawyers end up being hard asses on transactions...

Lists auctions as a chrome refractor auto #/500, but lists picture of the base card not chrome not auto and then ships the base and says you were bidding on the photo not the description. I won the Bubba Starling he had listed, and he is refusing a refund, but also admitted in the eBay dispute the item was listed wrong, but that isn't his problem. I am fairly confident I will win the dispute. If anyone has had an experience like this shoot me a PM and let me know if it worked in your favor.

Thanks,
Mark

There's a chance he resold them.

Scumbag opened a dispute against me with no warning on an $8 card TWO DAYS AFTER HE PAID. I sent with no DC. Didn't even realize he opened a dispute until a week later. He wrote in the dispute:

"Didn't have a good transaction I was told the price was 2 dollars cheaper plus I haven't recieved any thing"

Not sure what he's smoking as he made an offer and I accepted. Not sure where he gets the 2 dollars cheaper. I knew I should've put DC on it when he asked me the same day that he paid if his item had been shipped yet.

Just block him and save yourself any headache.

I don't get it, DC is free when you use Ebay shipping.

Re: Ebay Bidders to Block/Sellers to Avoid

Might want to add ebay user:

jaredskeycomics

Bought a Bryce Harper chrome refractor auto via "buy it now" from me on Feb 25th and hasn't paid yet. He also hasn't responed to any of my communitcation regarding when I should expect payment or notified me of any reason for delayed payment. Just wish I could re-list and see if I can sell it again. It was a slightly above market sale so they probably just took a chance that it would go up even more and if it didn't they would return it or not pay. Either way, as usual, a little communication would have helped my comfort level. Guess it could have been worse.

I ship out hundreds of cards each week, so shipping $5 to $10 with no DC is worth the risk for me when you save 74 cents on each card.

I don't get it. It cost 1.64 or something like that, no matter if you use ebay dc or ship a bubble mailer at the PO. Unless you ship in PWEs.

Your mail clerks aren't doing their jobs correctly.
You are bound to keep getting screwed.

1-3 cards in a bubble mailer with a few packing peanuts to meet the 3/4 thickness requirement for DC will and should cost $2.80 every day of the week.
This is what every one of my bubble mailers cost EVERY DAY I Ship.

Or maybe your mail clerks are screwing you ;)

I use stamps.com, so I never go to the PO. I'm not worried.
