I'm in the middle of dealing with this problem user, theturson, over $5.79.

theturson won two items ($5.79 including S&H) and asked to pay $5.50 with another Paypal account. Read: this person has problems with their account and needs to use someone else's. Red flags go up.

I said I need full payment via Paypal or they can send $5.50 cash. I also expect payment within 5 days (it had been a full 7 days) which I reminded theturson.

All of the sudden, I'm out of line and rude. This from theturson's follow-up e-mail "i will never send cash and the fact you asked me to pay cash is an ebay violation which can be reported" followed by "Well i am glad i havenmt left all my feedbacks yet that shows your true colors."

So here we have a person insulted by me asking for cash AND instead of sending the full $5.79 theturson sends $5.55 from someone's Paypal account. With payment also comes this, "i look forward to my cards by saturday or i file a dispute is that a kind of answer you like to see?" Demanding the cards by Saturday was probably an ode to my Payment Within Five Days Rule.

Anyway, I refund the $5.55 and tell theturson the invoice is for $5.79. If I'm getting neg'd I want the full $5.79.

theturson's response to the refund, "oh you arte going to be like that...Well enjoy the feedback i leave. I expect my cards by saturday. Have a good day." I'm going to be like that? Not take full payment? Yeah, I'll be like that.

Then I'm sent the $5.79 with, "i am leaving negative feedback for your attitude. I didn't ask you for anything or blackmail or anything i am telling you that i am leaving for these 2 transactions. SO say bye to the 100% feedback and learn how to treat customers who are trying to pay. Don't act like a jerk or tell peopel to pay cash." Didn't ask me for anything? What about a discount AND demanding cards by a certain day?

I've received negatives for the two cards even before shipping them out and am in the process of trying to get eBay to toss the negs. I think I have a case, plus I didn't do theturson the favor of volleying e-mail's back and forth once he started to threaten me with leaving a negative for my "attitude."

I still have the cards in hand and won't mail them until the negs are gone. Since theturson didn't pay with the Paypal account linked to their username, My eBay shows I have not received payment. This should help as well.

I mean, you decided and block on your own, but knowing this person is out in the eBay community, willing to drop negatives and "ruin" 100% feedback based on their interpretation of a seller's attitude is nothing short of ridiculous.

File a non paying bidder alert.. then he can't leave any negs..

good luck,

Thanks, but unfortunately, he's already dropped the negs.

I WISH this was the good old days; I'd be satisfied leaving a retaliatory neg for this ignoramus. Something tells me this wouldn't have happened if I could...

Like the dumb ass chick that bought a Coleco from me, then leaves negative feedback because "it doesnt work". Two days later she messages me saying she just didnt hook it up correctly. Now Ebay has to tos that negative for me to keep my 100%.

Some people are just A--holes and should be allowed to use Ebay. All negative feedback should be moderated, and then approved by Ebay jsut to make sure that it is justified.

Wow, looking at his feedback left, he seems to have a lot of problems with seller's customer service and feels he is deserving of what is not offered to him. With 14 negatives and 2 neutrals in the last 2 months, it seems like the problem might not be the sellers.

I will be blocking him, thanks for the heads up.

Ebay should just dump the entire feedback system. It's one sided and holds no credibility any longer because it is no longer a honest system. It can be used by idiots to blackmail sellers for free shipping or whatever they feel they can get out of a seller by extorting them. I ended up dropping my seller account because of all the changes they made with feedback, fees, and making it impossible to have a store found in the search function any more. Not only did they lose me as a seller, I would buy tons of stuff to flip on there into the tens of thousands of dollars which they also lost from me. Now I just buy stuff for my personal collection and the wife uses it to shop for stuff. They lost a lot of money from me. I guess thats what happens when you have a moron run the company into the ground. But hey, at least they can blame the lost of revenue on the economy and use that as a scapegoat to their stockholders but we all know the truth.

I checked that out. It looks like he also doesn't realize that "You can send cash" does not = "You must send cash." You were trying to help the guy out -- tool bag for sure.

Just filed an NPB and got this message:

"you just filed a FALSE unpaid item against me that is a ebay violation.
If this isn't closed then you will be reported for fraud. YOu are and were a jerk and i won't be blackmailed or told what to do. I tried to be nice and obviously you don't know what that is. Ifthis FALSE claim is not closed immediately i will make sure ebay takes APPROPRIATE measures for your fraud and false claim of an unpaid item. We have nothing else to say until you apologize for your bahavior and end this fraud."

Didn't know I was dealing with the freaking Jr. Volunteer eBay Police Team here. I hope theturson knows that this ordeal isn't ruining my day.

You should refund his payment too (and block him if possible), because I think eBay will flip out if you file an NPB when you do receive payment.

Freaking eBay police here. I hope theturson knows that this ordeal isn't ruining my day.

You should just refund the money he sent from someone else's account and tell him to kick rocks.

I've been sent money through a Paypal account not linked to theturson's eBay username. My eBay shows the items are still unpaid for.

Yeah but you still have his money - just to be clear of any accusations, you should send it back.

Just got a message from another eBayer disgruntled by theturson:

"regarding the turson--this user has been shut down by ebay several times under different ID's, most recently as jimedeen67. paypal information confirms this, but ebay is not allowed to retrieve paypal info. what is needed is an email address for theturson with the last name agronina attatched. first name could be alice or aj. I have already provided this info. to ebay from jimedeen, and they are looking for the same from theturson. please check your email exchanges and get back to me. thanks"

Yes, street justice.

I've never blocked someone, so I started with him.

theturson, more like, "the turd, son"...eh?...boo-yah?..... ::facepalm::

In his face, I just made fun of him on the INTERNET! That ****'s eternal! At least until Gilmore wipes the server for space in a few years.
